I use mobile device center for windows 7 to connect using my Motorola MC55, MC65, and Intermec CN50. All three devices used to work just fine using Active Sync 4.5. When I upgraded to Win7 which uses MDC, I started to have issues synchronizing my MC55.

Issue:

After I connect MDC to my MC55 unit, I can begin to synchronize its database. The connection from my PC to the MC55 will drop and I'll notice that MDC is no longer connected.

Attempted Troubleshooting Steps:

Reset the MC55 - After doing this, I can reconnect to MDC, however during the synchronization process it will drop again.

Reinstall MDC - After doing this, the issue still remains

Restart the PC - After doing this, the issue still remains

Toggle USB to PC check box - MDC will only connect if I have the box unchecked (Enable advanced network functionality)
When I have that box checked, it will not even be recognized by MDC. Sync still disconnects with it unchecked.

My other devices sync via MDC just fine. I've even tried using a different MC55 device and the issue remains even after multiple replacement devices. What causes the MDC to drop its previously established connection to the device? More importantly how do I resolve it!?
